## What I have learned today
### Coq proof scripts
* **Simplifying tactics**
In order to simplify tactics such as `simpl`, we need to set `Set Printing All`.
* **Automation**
We can use `Admitted` instead of `Abort` if we don't know how to complete a proof script.
We can use `eauto` instead of `eapply ... +` if we don't know how to complete a proof script.
* **Exercises**
I've finished most exercises in this chapter except one which I couldn't prove it using dependent pattern matching.
### Inductive types
* **Inductive types**
I've learnt that we can define new types by declaring its constructors which are mutually recursive functions that create values from other values.
### Inductive propositions
* **Inductive propositions**
I've learnt that we can define new propositions by declaring its constructors which are mutually recursive functions that create proofs from other proofs.
### Proving properties
* **Proving properties using dependent pattern matching**
I've learnt that we can use dependent pattern matching when proving properties because it allows us to infer information about subgoals from premises.
For example,
coq
Theorem SSS_congruence :
forall X Y P Q R : Prop,
P -> Q -> R ->
(X = True / Y = True / P = Q)%type ->
(X / Y / R)%type =
(True / P / Q)%type
can be proved by dependent pattern matching:
coq
Theorem SSS_congruence :
forall X Y P Q R : Prop,
P -> Q -> R ->
(X = True / Y = True / P = Q)%type ->
(X / Y / R)%type =
(True / P / Q)%type
Proof.
intros X Y P Q R HP HQ HR HXYQeq...
inversion HXYQeq as [HXXeq HYYeq HQPeq]...
subst... reflexivity...
Qed.
Here we have used dependent pattern matching twice: first time in `[HXXeq HYYeq HQPeq]`, second time in `subst`.
* **Proving properties using `discriminate`**
I've learnt that we can use `discriminate` when proving properties because it eliminates impossible branches during case analysis.

# JDBC
Connection 和 java.sql.DriverManager。
## Connection
java
Statement stmt = con.createStatement();
ResultSet rs;
rs=stmt.executeQuery("select * from mytable");
while(rs.next()){
System.out.println(rs.getString("name"));
}
stmt.close();
con.close();
Connection 还提供了其他方法来管理事务等任务,例如 beginTransaction()、commit() 和 rollback() 方法等。
## DriverManager
java
String url="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/mydb";
String username="root";
String password="password";
Connection con=DriverManager.getConnection(url,username,password);

# Criticism
Criticism is an important part of any creative process, including writing code or designing software systems. It involves evaluating something critically in order to identify its strengths and weaknesses so that improvements can be made.
When providing criticism for someone else's work, there are several factors that should be taken into consideration:
1. Clarity - Is the code or design easy to understand? Are there any confusing parts that need clarification?
2. Consistency - Does everything follow consistent naming conventions? Are there any inconsistencies throughout?
3. Efficiency - Is there anything redundant or unnecessary? Could certain parts be optimized further?
4. Maintainability - Can future developers easily modify this code without breaking existing functionality?
It's important not only to point out flaws but also suggest solutions or alternatives where applicable.
## Tips for Giving Effective Criticism:
1) Be specific: Instead of simply saying "this doesn't look right," explain exactly what needs improvement along with examples if possible.
2) Focus on constructive feedback: Avoid personal attacks or harsh language as these will only serve as demotivating factors rather than helping improve someone else’s work.
3) Use evidence-based arguments: Back up claims with facts instead relying solely upon opinion alone when criticizing another person’s work – this helps build trust between both parties involved!
4) Offer solutions instead merely pointing out problems: If possible suggest ways how someone could improve their current approach while still achieving desired results effectively – this demonstrates empathy towards them while also providing valuable insight into potential improvements they could make moving forward!
5) Be open-minded: Remember everyone has different perspectives so try not take things personally even if someone disagrees with your opinion – listen carefully before responding back constructively! <|repo_name|>zhangjiaqi123/Coq<|file_sep Language Learning.md
# Language Learning
Learning a new language is an exciting journey filled with challenges and rewards alike! Here are some tips to help you along your way:
**Start Small**: Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to learn too much at once – focus on building vocabulary gradually over time rather than cramming everything into one session!
**Practice Makes Perfect**: Speaking practice is key when learning any foreign language so find opportunities outside class hours such as joining conversation clubs or online forums dedicated specifically towards speaking practice!
**Listen Actively**: Listening comprehension skills come naturally through exposure over time but actively listening during conversations will accelerate progress significantly faster than passive listening alone! Make sure you pay attention closely while listening carefully enough so you understand what people are saying clearly without missing important details along the way…
**Read Widely**: Reading books/articles/news articles etc., regularly helps expand vocabulary quickly since words tend repeat themselves often enough within texts written fluently enough without sounding unnatural due repetition being present throughout entire piece(s). This also gives learners exposure towards different styles/styles used within various genres across multiple mediums thus helping them become familiarized quickly enough before attempting similar tasks themselves later down line..
**Write Regularly**: Writing helps reinforce newly acquired knowledge gained through reading/listening activities mentioned earlier above since putting pen/pencil onto paper requires conscious effort needed process thoughts logically enough produce coherent sentences grammatically correct manner possible given limited resources available currently available learner at present moment.. Writing regularly also allows learners practice applying grammar rules learned previously ensuring retention levels remain high despite occasional lapses occurring naturally due fatigue/exhaustion experienced after long periods focused study sessions undertaken previously..
By following these tips consistently over time learners should find themselves making steady progress towards becoming proficient speakers/readers/writers within target language desired eventually achieving fluency desired sooner rather later expected initially thought likely occur otherwise!<|repo_name|>zhangjiaqi123/Coq<|file_sep{|title "2019_12_01"|}
# Progress Report
This report summarizes my progress during December week two.
## Week two overview
During week two I focused mainly on improving my understanding of Coq syntax as well as exploring some basic concepts related to logic programming languages such as Prolog/Clojure/Lisp etc.. Specifically I studied topics like syntax trees/infix operators/recursion schemes etc.. In addition I also worked on implementing simple programs using Coq syntax such as calculating factorials/fibonacci numbers/gcd/lcm etc.. Finally at end week two completed my first assignment which involved solving problem statement provided instructor via email using coquille interpreter tool provided course website resources section under assignments folder named "Assignment #1" containing instructions necessary complete task successfully .
## Week three overview
Week three was spent mostly working through additional exercises provided course website resources section under assignments folder named "Assignment #2". This assignment required me write program compute greatest common divisor/lcm recursively using coquille interpreter tool again . After completing this assignment moved onto studying more advanced topics like higher-order functions , polymorphism , type classes , modules , objects & inheritance among others . By end week three felt comfortable working coquille interpreter tool & understood majority concepts covered thus far .
Overall feel confident abilities solve problems presented course materials provided . Still need continue practicing writing programs coquille interpreter tool until become proficient enough tackle more complex challenges ahead.<|repo_name|>zhangjiaqi123/Coq<|file_sep[2020/11/03]
