We wanted to see if there were any changes after removing grades that were potentially affected by academic dishonesty. ## Results We removed all test scores from Thomas High School ninth graders from our analysis because those scores were suspected of being fraudulent. When looking at charter schools specifically we see that: * The average math score increased from **83%** up to **83.5%** * The average reading score increased from **83.9%** up to **84.6%** * The overall passing percentage increased from **65%** up to **93%** * The percent passing math increased from **66%** up to **93%** * The percent passing reading increased from **68.%** up to **97%.** When looking at district schools we see that: * There were no changes made overall. ## Summary Overall I would say there was not much difference between before and after we removed Thomas High Schools' grades nine test scores due primarily because there was such a large amount of students attending Thomas High Schools (approximately one thousand) so when removing approximately one hundred students (the number who were in grade nine) it did not have much of an effect on anything else other than what directly involved Thomas High Schools' grades nine test scores.
